Eli's Coming....Eli's Coming...

SO guess what we did this weekend? Okay you won't get it. I'll start with the day:

Sat we wake up at 7:30 to get ready for the bus ride to Arizona. We got to 4 wall with time to spare and visited awhile before getting on the front of the bus (who wants to be by the bathroom). Everyone said I looked like a hippy flower child ;-)..So our bus driver...Dan...oh Dan. We started the journey towards the Hoover Dam, however busses are not allowed over the Dam sooo we turned around and started on the long stretch towards Laughlin. Everyone is laughing, having a great time when I hear something beeping and Dan freaking out a little. He grabs the microphone and tells everyone on the bus we have to pull over. Wes, Larry, Michael, Jen and I look at each other and pile of the bus, just in case. Come to find out, dear old Dan only had one of the three belts on the bus that was needed. So we were stuck, on the side of a long stretch of desert, we started to look for buzzards. 3 hours later we were back on the bus.

3:30 (same day) we stop at a shady little gas station with a Subway for lunch. We all pile out and use the smelly bathrooms...The food looked questionable with the flys and all the workers and there eye piercings. I had a Fuze :-)

7:30 we finally arrived in Tempe at the hotel. Wes ran out to check in first, while I got the bags... That was a bad idea on my part, he packs like a girl.

8:00 The bus left for Chronic Taco on the ASU block. Free Food and the bartender was nice enough to name a drink after me... Everyone had Meghan's all night long :0) hehe!! Larry also bought me some "hippy" shades..haha! Finally after going to a couple of bar/clubs we got a cab back to the hotel. Kathy thought there was a pterodactyl in the trunk...she was a little gone at that point.

SUNDAY.. GAME DAY

We piled on the bus at 10:00 to head to the stadium, what a trip, I think we almost took out a van. Once we arrived there was a slue of Giants fan, which makes me happy. We went around WestCliff shopping center and met up with Michael, Jen and Jim at Hogs and Heffers :-). Once we were in the game, we hiked to the top, and this time I didn't mind. I was at my first NFL game and it was the best. Eli ralled the Giants to become 10-1.. Best record in the league.

So after all my excitement..I'm tired and I'm trying not to sleep at work.

So it begin's

Today I got an 8 dollar budget and a Charlie Brown Tree!! I think I did good. Here is my office holiday pictures, I did it all by myself with Frosty the Snowman blaring off my computer. Happy Holidayssss

Family

Samantha turned 21, Mom, Wes & 1 lost at Bingo and Dan came for 5 hours. IT WAS AWESOME!

On Thursday my little sister turned 21. We went to Hachi, a modern Japanese sushi bar. I ate the chicken ;-)! The wait staff was awesome, I highly recommend Red Rock Casino and all the dining. When we got back to the house we gave her some presents, of course Wes gave her the best one ;-) of the night!

Friday night we thought was going to be the Taco cook off, but there was only Wes, Dad, Mom and Me. So Mom and I went to Wal Mart and bought wayyy to many groceries (thanks!). Were set for 6 months lol.

Saturday was Turkey Day.. I made my dad get the stuff out of the butt, that's not my thing ;-)! Then we cooked and waited. Dan and his family came in around 4:00. We ate, visited and tried to play scene it... Note to self, don't play with people who only watch TV in the winter because it is too cold for anything else. Katie also loved Jeter and she was so careful with him, it was cute.

Sunday was football day and Dad & Mom got to see us at the bar, I think they didn't know what to do, we screamed a lot hehe!! Then Wes and I went to Red Rock with my mom and ended up losing at Bingo but it was still fun.

I wish they didn't have to go, it was a fun visit :-)!

I have a hammer...

and I know how to use it. :-) We are just finishing up the work we have to do on our house for the fam that is coming. YAY!

Imagine this: Wes comes home, its 5:23 p.m., the house is dark except for the coffee table area. "What's going on he asks when he walks in". Okay so I won't narrate the night but it was awesome. Wes cam home from work and I sent him on a C-O-L-T-S scavenger hunt around the house to find clues to the best surprise I could ever of given him.

He ran upstairs, downstairs and around each room before he got to his "Shrine" room and saw a Fed Ex package sitting by Peyton Manning. While he was trying to see what was in it, I set the timer on my camera.

There was nothing in the Fed Ex folder and he was seriously let down until...

That's right, I asked him to go to the Colts game with me. I've never seen anyone as happy as he was that moment, he is past Cloud Nine.

~~Blue Man Group~~

Larry gave Wes a couple of tickets to Blue Man Group Saturday night, so we decided to go and see what all the fuss was about. The show was actually a very good show, the blue men are very weird. They stare at the world, kind of creepy. They gave us tissue paper to play with and I made some ninja headbands for Wes and I had a hippy headband. The show out of a ten I would give a 8, it wasn't as messy as it should of been.

*Halloween*

Halloween was full of tricks and treats for us. Wes was so sick, but he was able to handle the wedding and reception we went to. So some funny stories. Wes was Neo and he wanted black hair, so I got a black dye hairspray to put on his hair, but the hair had to be completely dry. So he gets out of the shower and then calls me up to help him with the hair dye. I asked him "Is your hair dry?" "Yes"! I should of known it wasn't!!! When I started to spray the dye it started to run down his face.. :) hehe it was kind of funny he was yelling at me ;-)!! It was all his fault so he had a streak of gray on his face for the night.

We got to the wedding and it was very intimate, not many people were there. Clarity and John walked each other down the chapel and then were husband and wife. At the party we had pizza (even though I didn't notice there was pizza) and lots of fun.
