You never know

I was once told by a very smart person that you need to be courteous to everyone, you never know who they are. Well back in May when I flew to New York City, by chance I took an earlier flight and sat next to a guy in his late twenties. After saying hi and a few hours into the flight we started chatting about his job at Caesars Palace. Well he is a Sales Manger for events. I told him I loved fashion, then he asked me if I knew who Ed Hardy was?! Of COURSE!! Well long story short 4 months later he kept his promise and just a couple hours ago I was given and all access pass to the show and VIP areas. It was an awesome experience. I didn't get the best of pictures but the memories are priceless to me. I also got some swag, but you all know me and swag.

...The Hardest Part...

Well you all know that Wes is gone to NYC again for work this week. So to kill the time I'm priming all the walls in the house to be re-painted. Wes and I did the math and 60 in paint and primer is a lot better than losing the whole security deposit. It is keeping me busy though, so I guess that is a good thing. I'm almost done, I only have the living room and then the Toy room. Wes will get the honor of taking all his toys and shelf's down though before I paint that room. I already broke one of his toys :( He said he isn't mad, but I think he is. Oh well that is what EBay is for. We are getting sooooo close!

House Update!!

There is definitely going to be A LOT of house updates because of it being so close. Wes and I went on Saturday and we were so shocked and awed that we couldn't talk. It was beautiful and it wasn't even done yet. The cabinets are in, the closets were a lot bigger than I remember.. Woo only 30 more days. The count down beings.

Cars

Word of advice I should have known when I was 19!! Do not buy a VW Jetta, I can't believe how many problems this car has given me. :-( I just had to replace a fan motor. I've never even heard of that. Wes and I sat down yesterday and added up everything I have had to fix on this devil car... (i.e. Transmission, Axles, Tires (before the new ones), Batteries, Sunroof Etc..) and in 24 months it averages $324.00 a month, A MONTH. That is insane and ridiculous. I am not PAYING on this thing for another two years. Uh I'm so frustrated. Work to the wise, no VW.

House Update!!

The finally inspection is set!! We are meeting on September 24th in the morning. After that its a matter of paperwork and we will have our first house.. OMG

Its here and in the mail also came a map of where we would be. We were selected out of thousands to be put in front of the Colts Team Store, the best location for the brick. YAY!! So now we have to go see this little brick, who knew.

Yankee Sweep...:-(

Well we just got back from one of our last vacations this year. It was a disappointment to say the least. We both had hectic days at work so we were already in a bad mood, then we got to state line and were hungry so we stopped at McDonald's, it took about 20 minutes for food. :-(! We didn't encounter any traffic till about Rancho Cucamongo, it stopped. No reason for it, just dead stop. So we were going to be late for the game, and we know that doesn't work for us. So we stopping into our hotel which was SO GROSS. We didn't realize hoe gross until after the Yankee game (where we lost :( ) The wallpaper was ripped, air conditioner didn't work, the soap had dirt and hair on it, the sheets were stained and the towels were a pale yellow. EWWWW, so we left at 1:30 AM to find another hotel. We ended up at the Laguna Marriott where we stayed before. So at 2 or 3 I can't remember we finally got to sleep.





Saturday we met up with my brother and his family. Katie my niece is almost two, Karen is almost 16 and Josh will be 17 in just a couple of weeks. They are SO BIG. I haven't seen them in a very long time, but I was excited to. I did forget to give them the clothes I got for them lol. Whoops! We went to Huntington Beach, its not my favorite beach but we made it work, we did see some cool sandcastles and playing in the ocean with Karen was a blast. I enjoyed it! :-) She is a pretty girl. After that we walked the pier before driving the girls home, we saw some interesting people and things. It was fun to be around my family though and Katie liked Wes...which is good. Babies do not normally like him.
