USA Basketball

USA Well we went to the USA Basketball vs. Canada exhibition game on Friday. Wes had so much fun. We were in the nose bleed section and usually those are okay, but this time it seemed like we were put in the grouchy section, no one cheered. Granted no one cheers for a long time BUT still in the nose bleed section people are usually drunk and cheer more. Oh well! At least we can say we saw USA Basketball if they win the Gold medal this year in the Olympics.

The date is set...

No not that date.. But the date of our house! :-0 Yes it is true, we should have our final inspection on September 25th, where Wes and I will move into the new house. I am so excited. Can't wait to live in suburbia!

Best movie in the whole world, at least that is what Wes said. We had a lot of fun, we went to Town Center and ate at California Pizza Kitchen. Andy found a piece of plastic in his meal from the tag that was on the pineapple's so we got a free meal (which we were excited, but not that it happened that way). Then we went an hour early for the show, where Annie took a picture of my legs, I like my legs, good legs he he! Wes geeked out through the whole movie, he is so dang cute.

House Update!!

Well we had our pre-drywall inspection. The house is going up great, looks like it might be around mine or Wes birthday!! YAY

Wes Loves the Seg Way

Whenever we go to my sisters house, all Wes wants to do is ride my brother in law's Segway he he its funny. Whats even funnier is he watched an episode of Frasier a few days before this and Niles was riding a Segway and kept say.."Hello, foot people" so what did Wes do?? He started riding it and saying, Hello foot people. OH it was funny!

Lake with my Friends

I haven't seen some of my friends for three years and I couldn't wait to go to the lake with them. We were all suppose to meet at 11:00 but the only people there on time were, me, Josh, Wes & Kenna as usual. So we took the boat out first and Wes tried to Wake board... Wasn't as easy as he thought it was going to be lol.




We met up at the dock and traded groups, so we went to eat while Dave and them took the boat out. We forgot a spatula he he so we didn't cook very well. After we ate we took the boat tubing and that was SO much fun.. Kenna would slip and then grab onto me, that was rough.
Then I drove the boat with Wes & Josh on the back.... Yep my main goal totally wipe them out, which I did lol. It was such a fun day at the lake. And to see my friends after 3 years all together was as better as I hoped.

Cruise In 2008

I'll be honest, this is the reason I LOVE the 4th of July in Logan. The old car show is super cool, and the cruise after is even better. Wes and I went to the Shine and Show that morning, and we were hoping his Uncle would of come to the parade but he didn't make it :( ! It was muggy so we had to stop and get some snow cones, but after that it was all cars.

Wes loved the back to the future car, later in the parade the drivers wore wigs to resemble the characters. At the parade there was a car that lit on fire, and one that look liked well I'll let you just look at it.

When we were done we had a battle of the sexes rock band (Wes & I first time playing) at my sisters house. The girls won because the boys failed at there last song lol.

Mom's Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my Mom she is 27 ;-)!! Wes and I tricked my mom into believing we got stuck in Malad and wasn't going to make her birthday party. Little did she know we were planning a surprise attack of balloons, flowers and presents.

We got there and seemed to be surprised. We had some good food and made sure no one sang to her. She hates that! We opened her presents and I hope she liked them. She didn't say much about them, maybe she was overwhelmed.

Overall it was fun, then we went to my sisters after a movie for a BBQ and some fireworks. Sheila was overwhelmed with the fireworks. But she seemed to have fun.

3rd Of July

If anyone has ever been to Logan, you will know that the firework show at Romney Stadium is on the 3rd. Wes thought it was really weird as do I, but that is how it is. Our flight got into SLC late and so we got stuck with the worst rental car, a hatchback. Well not really it was a Dodge Charger but gee is was nasty. We drove to Logan, Traffic wasn't fun. We stopped in an saw my parents and my niece, she didn't like us at first. Then we checked in to the Comfort in, which is a horrible hotel in Logan. The bed sheets were stained and the walls were paper thin (we had a screaming baby staying next to us) and the toilet would make the weirdest noises. Anyways, we left for Lundberg Park to meet Niki who was suppose to bring blankets...She forgot. Before the fireworks even started Mosquito's started biting. So we headed to the car, Niki and Wes had the worst bites. We didn't even stay we started driving down to Stadium an watched the fireworks at the car wash he he. Over all they were okay, not as cool as I remembered but oh well.
