Bridesmaid Dresses

Well I have finally found a dress that works for everyone...let me tell you how much of a relief that is. Everyone will get to wear there own shoes and then we will coordinate jewelry. They won't wear the same jewelry it will just be coordinated. :-) Yay

The Beginning of the Centerpieces

I have been procrastinating about doing anything wedding related because I either change my mind OR I find myself to busy to bother. With four and a half months to go I have no time to lose, so I started today on four of the ten centerpieces I need to do. It's coming along, slowly but will be pretty.

Pool Table...Part One

Today was the day we ventured to ghetto town Las Vegas to pick out the pool table he received as a gift for Christmas. I was very skeptical because Pool tables are not very fashionable in a house, he assured me everything would look good. We arrived and this sweet old man gave us a catalog to pick on out of. I was automatically drawn to "The Black Pearl" but Wes wanted to look at all of them...ten minutes later he decided he liked my choice. Little did I know it was going to take him fifteen minutes to pick a felt color, I didn't want to choose since it was his gift and I was already happy with the frame. He chose Navy blue, which to everyone won't be a surprise... I have a feeling there is going to be some flowers and then "Honey, I want to make upstairs a Colts room"... Can't wait to update that day of the blog lol. We get it delivered on Saturday so were cleaning the loft this weekend. I was also so charming to the old man that he gave me a free NY Giants billiard ball. :-)

Today... We Ice Skate

Somehow I convinced Wes to try Ice Skating, I don't know how but I'll take it. My New Years Resolution is to have a fun date night once a month were we do something new and fun. We all know that June is covered, so I had to think of something for January. I chose Ice Skating so we went to the Ice Skating rink down by our house on Flamingo. Wes won't admit but he was a bit nervous. So he started out slowly, then he got the hang of it, then his skate came untied...then he ate it. It was right out of the movies, he went us and landed flat back without even putting a hand on the ground. <---At least he could ice it right away ;-)

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We were on a LOST lockdown marathon, but we decided we needed to celebrate 2010. The year WERE GETTING MARRIED!!! We went to Clarity and John's house for a laid back celebration.

Lemons

I finally picked the lemons from my tree. I couldn't believe how fast they showed up, the landscaping professional told us it would be two years. So I opened them up and made some fresh lemon water. I am so excited I can't believe I actually grew something without it dying.

Well....

IF I had a dog...I totally would do this to them. Only once...I'm not a cruel person lol.

Christmas Morning

Wes and I had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were able to take care of 6 angel's from the angel tree. We spend Christmas in Alamo with no snow and bright sunshine. Not my favorite part of living in the desert but I manage. We were able to deliver Annie's cookies on Christmas Eve to all of our close friends. I woke up before everyone on Christmas morning and decided to give everyone a taste of their own medicine...I yelled "IT'S CHRISTMAS" and woke everyone up. We had a lot of gifts from all of our family and we enjoyed ripping packages and seeing everything inside. Annie and Andy gave us a pool table as our gift, so I can't wait for everyone to come play.
