Hawaii

Mom and I went to Hawaii and we were able to do a lot of great things. We were able to see the sunset, drive around O'ahu, Shop (yay!) and attend a Luau. The Luau was a lot of fun even though it started to rain. The trip was short but it was still fun while we were there. Can't wait to take Wes to show him the Island.

UFL Loco Football

Wes and I went to the UFL Loco's Football Game. We watched the Loco's lose to Florida but we also got to see Sugar Ray during halftime. Sadly Sugar Ray wasn't as great as they were back in 1991, Aerosmith they are not. It was fun though, we cheered and watched Dominic Rhodes score touchdowns. Dominic Rhodes was the running back in the Superbowl the year the Colts won...so Wes was excited.

Football Sunday

It's that time again...Colts football! Even though they lost the first game they will bounce back and we will continue to put the flag out!!!

Boating

Weekend after Labor Day we went boating with my friend Marc. I was able to get up on the wake board and have fun tubing with Wes and Marc's kids Courtney and Chase. The weather was perfect and we got great tans!

Utah Visit

Wes and I took ourselves up to Logan over Labor Day weekend. It was an early plane ride but we made it into town around noon. We stayed at the brand new Marriott which was very nice. We met up with my family at the Cache Valley Fun Park where we suprised Sheila. She didn't know we were coming and she had a huge grin when she came running up to us and giving us big hugs. It was a lot of fun we had dinner and gave the little ones their gifts. The next day Sheila came over to our hotel to swim. We had to leave after that but overall it was a great trip.

Fantasy Draft Night

We have a fantasy football draft every year. Even though I have a huge curse when I drafdt Wes seems to always fair well throughout the season. This year was fun we had only close friends as part of our league and we drafted together on the kitchen table because I have a laptop now. Wes first pick was Peyton Manning which shouldn't be a huge surprise there lol... It's going to be a fun season and I can't wait!

Orange-Honey Chicken Night

Wes and I have decided that we are going to start cooking a new recipe together on the weekends. This week we started with a Orange Honey Chicken. We used Garlic, Honey, Orange Juice, Orange Rinds, Ginger and Basil which are things we never cook with. The verdict came out good, Wes liked it which is what I am worried about when we cook because he is so picky. Next week we will be in Logan but I think were going to try a Moroccan Strip Steak on Monday.
