53 Years

It took my mother 53 years to be brave enough to sit in the massage chair while someone pampers her feet; now she is addicted. I've never seen or heard a nail salon taking off as much skin as my mom had and then saying "I see you do not take care of your feet, but that okay...we do it". :-)

Sunday 9-6-09 River Kiley was baptised and I was the luckiest Godmother to be with her. I of course broke the rules and took pictures...oops.

10k Miles & OSU

My Malibu finally turned over to ten thousand miles. I couldn't believe it, Wes told me it was all down hill from there...hopefully he was joking. I don't have a very good track record with cars. I also thought I looked cute in this shirt Kaylee bought me :-)

John & Wes

For the second year in a row; John and Wes' pool competition. This year was the skuttleboard competition along with "walking on the boards". As you can see, it didn't turn out so well for them, in fact Wes plowed his shoulder and scraped it pretty bad but he'll be okay. Same as last year NO clear winner so it will be settled next year.

Fantasy Draft Day

A very serious time in our life's is DRAFT DAY! We go all out preparing...okay Wes goes all out. This year I (Meghan) got the FIRST PICK!! Woo Hoo :-) I'm hoping that taking Adrian Peterson doesn't lead to him breaking a leg. If you don't know my background then I'll fill you in. Every year no fail whoever I take ends up on the injured list for example: Brain Westbrook, Braylon Edwards, Marvin Harrison <--- Wes wasn't happy about that, Dallas Clark <--see note before and the list can go on and on.

We play each other the first week of Fantasy... So wish me luck ;-) I'm cuter in my Giants stuff anyways!

Clairty's Birthday

For Clairtys 24th birthday Wes, John, Clarity,River and I went to yard house. We had a great birthday meal and talked for two hours before we left. Clarity and I went for frozen yogurt and and since Wes had such a great time with River we thought we would let them watch River while we ate. It seemed good, River didn't cry!!!

MickSmith Family BBQ

August 29th we spent the afternoon at Larry and Jaime's house BBQing and swimming with the kids. Wes actually helped with the BBQing process...he brought the BBQ sauce to Larry; was so proud. Wes bought the kids a basketball hoop for the pool, so he played two on one with them, shockingly the kids won! ;-) It was a wonderful afternoon and we are so blessed to have great friends.

River is starting to like Wes..

We went to an open house with Clarity and John to show them our venue. We felt so at home, and we got...okay I got really excited for the wedding. While Clarity and I were trying the photo booth Wes needed to watch River and this is how I found them.. Say it with me... AWWW!
